30 kids got the opportunity to learn some fishing skills and enjoy a good ol’ fashioned picnic! They learned both bass and fly fishing techniques. They also just got to be kids for the day and play some Nine Square, Corn Hole and Ladder Ball.

One kid, thanks to a volunteer known as Uncle Ralph, gained some knowledge about the game of Chess. It was a beautiful day at the lake and fun for all who attended. It was the perfect day for building relationships.

Thank you to our 27 volunteers who helped make this day a reality for our kids! A special thanks to Denver Nowicz, Mark Michleson, Zach Forman & Derek Rivchin (volunteers who helped the kids fish) and Arizona Game & Fish Department for allowing us to borrow fishing poles!
