Ty’s Story

Aging out of foster care can be one of the most vulnerable and uncertain times in a young person’s life. At just 18— with no family to fall back on and little support — they’re expected to navigate adulthood alone.

Each year in Arizona, nearly 800 youth age out of foster care.

That’s why Hope & A Future launched the transitional living program — to meet these young people right where they are at –  when they need it most – with housing, utility and transportation assistance.

This program doesn’t just provide a roof over their heads. It provides stability, structure, support, and a leg up when they need it most.
