Hope is what Arizona foster children find at Hope & A Future. The nonprofit has helped thousands of children since 2004.   The opportunities range from attending summer camp to learning life skills, mentoring, tutoring and the chance to go to college on a scholarship. Hope & A Future sees the progress it’s making in a foster child’s life by the number of them coming back to share their story of hope and volunteering their time with the organization. A future some foster children did not believe was possible until they found Hope & A Future.

Here are a few program successes:

Summer Camps · 345 foster children attended summer camps with over 600 volunteers supporting the camps.

Life Skills Program · 377 foster children receiving life skills, mentoring, and tutoring services with support from the Cheesecake Factory.

Back to School Supplies · Over 300 foster children received clothing, backpacks, and back to school supplies in August.

Christmas Party · 1,200 foster children were provided a Christmas meal and gift, and attended Phoenix Zoo Lights. Over 2,647 gifts and other support was donated.

College Scholarships · 21 college scholarships totaling $65,000 were awarded to foster kids attending: ASU, GCU, Phoenix College, Glendale Community College, and Scottsdale Community College.
